My bags must… be either big or very small. When I became an artiste I realized that I have a lot of things to carry. Usually when I go out, I don’t carry a bag, I just carry a wallet, my handphone and wear jeans.
I buy bags from… Prada in Singapore. I seldom shop overseas. Recently, I went to inhabit and bought some bags from Philip Lim, as well as some accessories. I saw someone carrying it and said I wanted that bag. They said it was out of stock so they ordered it for me. I just loved it. It wasn’t a trendy bag but I just liked it. The strap of the bag is very retro and unique and the front and the side of the bag reminds me of my childhood.
Most recent acquisition is… a Prada bag in lovely yellow. It was on sale like 40 per cent off and there were only two pieces left. I only paid about a thousand plus for it. I’m crazy over yellow! Actually, the bag wasn’t on display, but the sales manager came over to me and said, “Kym, there’s this bag that I’m sure you’ll like.” I told him to bring it out to show it to me and when I saw it I was like, “Oh my God, this bag is beautiful!” The second they said that it was on sale, I decided to buy it immediately.
